25-06 Axis followed me home....

So I had a bit of an impulse buy last week, I picked up a very slightly (if at all) used Axis Xp 25-06 for the grand total of $250. I took the factory scope off and slid on a brand new Elite 3200 that I picked up this summer for $100 after rebate, reworked the trigger down to a crisp 3 3/4lbs and took it to the farm. This thing shoots sub moa with factory Winchester 90gr pos-expanding AND shoots the EXACT same poi as my reloaded 75gr V-max at 3625fps. Man, I got WAY more expensive rifles that won't shoot this good!
I'm gonna paint this gun white and go kill some mangy coyotes this winter. ;)

I love my 25-06, still need to do some more R&D but first trip I fell in love with it!

My shooting partner I think is a little put out because my $250 Savage walks circle around he $900 rifle!

My 25.06 is my most favoritist bestest rifle I have. It's also a pawn shop rescue.
Much like my fellow Florida resident above, it'll shoot circles around most anything to the point of boring. It's easy to load for, likes anything I run thru it & it was only $200 if I recall.
