Vortex viper 6.5-20x50 scope ring height

Well i have a vortex viper 6.5-20x50mm scope, I was going to get a weaver tactical base in 20moa and the weaver tactical rings. I'm pretty sure mediums will clear but does any body know if i can get away with low rings with how thick the base is? I know the Burris medium tactical rings with a standard weaver base clears the gun with almost a 1/4".

All my scopes mounted on full rails, EGW and Weaver, are mounted with low rings. That include three different 50mm objective scopes with 30mm tubes: 1 Bushnell Elite 6-24x50 and two SWFA 5-20x50. Medium rings left them too high above the rifle to get a good cheek weld.

Great! I was hoping to get back to some low rings. Thanks. It's looking like I'm going to get the weaver tactical 20moa base. Can't find the EGW anywhere and they said 4 weeks for one.
