Very Stupid MK II magazine question

Apologies in advance.

I just purchased a MKII FVXP that comes with a 5 round magazine. Will a 10 round mag fit this rifle?
The Savage website says the rifle has a 5-round "capacity," but I don't know if that means as it is sold initially or if a 10-round won't fit it for some strange reason.

I don't think you'll have an issue with the 10 round magazine. I have a MK II G which came with a 10 round mag standard, and fits a 5 round mag with no problems at all.
The only difference is in the length of the magazine, not in the way it fits into the receiver.
