accu stock barrel change

Would it be posible to change the barrel of an accustocked sporter barrel gun with a heavy barrel while keeping the same stock, if you would just cut out the barrel channel more to accept the bigger barrel?

Yup, if you have the time and effort to open up the barrel channel it can be done, within reason. (Like a varmint contour factory Savage, not something like a 1 inch strait no taper bull)
