I just purchased the model 40 .22 hornet... Haven't shot it yet, but I have heard through the grape vine that it has a slight problem with casing ejection... But has tack driving accuracy... I'm playing with several loads & bullet weights to see what will work best through her... I'll keep you posted throughout the new year... This (Ihope) will be my reach out & touch'em gopher gun... I already have a Ruger 77/22.22 hornet, like it lots but looses accuracy when it gets hot... I'm hoping the Bull Barrel will cure this... I'm also thinking about reaming the chamber to a .22 "K" Hornet on my Ruger... I have been told this enhances the accuracy & bullet performance... I have had excellent preformance with the Hogdon "Lil Gun" powder... anyone else try this wonderful powder???

It is the original stock for the rifle. The ones that I have seen at Numrich are also originals, thay are factory over runs, at a very good price.
