What model action????

I'm tossing around the idea of building a .338 Lapua but would like to build it with a Savage action. What long action model rifle/action is needed for this build?

Only truly safe to build it on Savage's new Lapua action but I don't think that it is available as a bare action yet. You would have to order the whole rifle.

How do you like your LVT stock by SSS? I have mine on order.

It's a great stock. VERY well made and fits like a glove. I neglected to mention when I ordered mine that it was for a RUM action so I had to open the mag well up a bit but no other issues. I have shot my 338 Edge over the hood of my truck without a brake and the stock design kept the scope out of my eye and helped tame the recoil. It's incredible what a good fit can do.

Whats a RUM action? I can't wait to get my LVT stock for my rifle.

RUM is short for Remington Ultra Mag. The magazines are slightly longer than the standard long action.
