Ive had my Mark II for some time now but have never adjusted the accutrigger. I Took the rifle apart for the first time today to do a thourough cleaning. Keep in mind Im a marine of 5 years and have been around weapons all my life, Im not new to firearm maintenance and am very detailed and careful.

Heres my problem

My accutrigger looks nothing like what Ive seen

Where the adjustment screw should be just below the trigger return spring is a small spring and NO adjusment screw.

Ive never had this rifle apart before and Ive bought it brand new in box.

The picture you have posted is for a center fire rifle, the rim fire rifles are different. See where the tool is at above it is the adjustment spring, this part of the triggers are similar. Now screw in there just a wire tab that the tool slides over, then twist to adjust.

OK figured it wasnt going to be the Rimfire one but it seems no literature is available for it right now...

Here is mine:

Trigger return spring is that smaller spring, I thought that needed to be compressed in and the tension was adjusted by the scew/tab.

Yep, that's right.

Just stick the tool up the middle of the spring.

FWIW, your spring is set as light as it can go.
