Picked some up this weekend, I already use RE 15, 19 and 22. Not a lot of load data tobe found. I was hoping it would be a good powder in the 6mm Norma BR due to it's load density but it looks as though I may be wrong. I did find a little data for the 260 Rem.

I would go to the Benchrest Central and 6MMBR forums and do a search. You will probably find some good info there.

My shooting buddy and me tried rl17 in both our 6brs with poor results. His is a 30" barreled Savage F class, pretty tight twist, shooting Amax 105s and Sierra 107s. Mine is a Shilen ten twist shooting 87 Vmax and 95 VLDs. Both guns chronographed significantly lower and shot larger groups with all combinations we tried using this powder. Hard to beat Varget, RL15, and N135 in this caliber.

Read somewhere that RL17 was a good replacement for IMR4350, and worked well in short mags. Gotta find some data and give it a whirl since we bought five lbs.

Alliantpowder.com they have load data for several calibers. I use it with great sucess in my 25-06.

I spoke with Alliant when this powder first came out. I was told to use IMR 4350 load data interchangably with reloader 17.

RE17 is a tad to slow for a 6br, it is close to burn rate to 4350. When it first came out I bought a couple of pounds of it, and tried it in my 6x47 lapua. I could not find where it had any advantage over 4350, so I went back to 4350.
