Stevens rifles

Hey guys have a question..can I take a Stevens 200 rifle and modify it to what I want. I'm new here and will take any piece of advice I can get. I want to build a nice 260 rem for 800-1000 yards. Thanks in advance.

yap you sure can its the best way to start a build ;-} just get you a stevens with the same bolt head as the 260 and build her up
