Advice please

I have a 110 30-06 and new to savage rifles. Should the rear baffle assembly on the bolt be loose, and if I take the bolt out of the gun i can rotate it. Is this normal?

Sorry for some reason I thought you meant the bolt, AKA as the BAS, there is a notch to line it up though.

I have one that'll fall off if I don't watch it. The others are snug enough to stay put. Also, when I clean & lubricate the bolt I put a mini-drop of oil in the hole where you can see the steel ball. Dip the end of a toothpic in oil & touch it to the steel ball.

If it's very loose keep an ey on it. You know it'll fall off when you don't need it to or want it to.
