Change 22-250 to 204?

I have a Stevens 200 in 22-250. I've been thinking about getting a 204. Someone told me that I could change my rifle over to a 204. Is that possible? I just always thought you bought a new rifle if you wanted a different caliber. If it is possible what all would I need to change?
I appreciate any info/help!

You would need barrel and bolthead for sure, magazine would probably need changed or "adjusted". The 22-250 will do anything the 204 does and do it better, I have had both and the 22-250 wins out in my book every single time.

kslefty hit the nail on the head with the mods you would have to make!

As for the .22-250 doing what the .204 does and doing it better.....in his book, mabye! In reality, it's actually the other way around!
