You want to be talked out of it mention it to your significant other I'm sure you'll get resistance there I know mine does. One can only hope yours thinks like us barrel nut brothers do. BUILD IT

Well, no help here. I figure that I'll go ahead and build one. I went to Wal-Mart and bought the 10fxp in .308. I know my choices on the new rifle are limited by the short action but I didn't have a short action Savage. I've been looking around the web at choices and I think the 7mm-08 will serve me well for shooting hogs across wheat fields. I'm thinking a 26" varmint contour barrel. Anyone have recommendations on barrel brand?
