First Savage

HI Guys,
I am a Newby here & I purchased my first Savage today a 11 FCXP3 in .308. I am planning an F-Class/Tactical type project in .260 with this rifle. I got this one at Bimart on sale for $329.00

I will gladly take all suggestion & tips on this project

welcome, probably the best thing to do is surf for a while and learn. northlander is a good pre-fit choice on the barrels, SSS, is also a good choice, and devin i/e sinman is a good smith....

Being a paid member, you have access to a wealth of knowledge. Experienced members are more than happy to help a new member to "the dark side" of barrel swapping. I say "dark side" because once you start, and see how easy it is, your hooked.
