model 40 rebarrel to 17ah?

are barrels offered for this? has anyone had any experience with it? i dont suppose their 17hmr rimfire barrels could be screwed in and rechambered in the model 40?

The rimfire barrels are tight drive fit and pinned as is the M-40 Hornet. Anything is possible if you have the money. There are enought differences that it is not just a simple swap.
