New Scope?

I'm looking at ordering the Nikon 6469 4.5-14x40mm for the 110FP 308. as now it's fitted with a Tasco 6-24x42mm and wanted to upgrade. would like to hear opinions from the members of the board.

I run Nikon Monarch's on my hunt rifles. I also use a Nikon Buckmaster 6-18x40 on my .338-06. They are rugged and solid. You won't go wrong. Is the Tasco an older one from Japan? That older glass is really hard to beat.

No it's a new model cabela's traded it out as the one on the gun would not zero out. It's been shooting good so far just wanted something more dependable and a better warranty. The scope now rest on my wife's 10/22 and she's in heaven.

I have a 4x14 Buckmaster on my .30-06 and love it. Great optics for the price.
