Hey all, i bought a 110 with a pacnor barrel in 6XC, and when i drop the round into the action and push the bolt forward the bullet tip hits the barrel face near the bottom of the chamber and wont go in, same thing when i try to load from the magazine but when i try with the magazine the round angles to one side or the other because of the stagered feed, i have tried reshaping the feed lips but to no avail. Anyone have this problem? and how can i go about fixing it...

I had the same problem last week. When I removed the feed spring assembly I found that it was not parallel when placed on a table with the plastic ramp up. After re bending the spring so that the ramp was parallel with the table it feed fine. I believe that it got bent when I tried to jamb too many rounds into the magazine.

Probably doesn't have enough chamfer on the breech face.

if i pull the barrel and have my gunsmith chamfer the barrel how much should i have him cut and at what angle that is still safe?

On that size case, make it 45 degrees and .050" wide.

ok thank you, was looking more closely at the barrel face an that .050 looks to be the perfect chamfer size to make everything work perfect.
