A magnet is going to stick to a stainless steel barrel/action too, not sure how to tell the difference but a magnet aint it. I could post pics of the barrel but it is clearly a blasted crome moly J barrel that has been blasted and flutted. Not sure what is keeping it from rusting??
If the action screw spacing is 4.53 your going to have to have one custom inletted or convert a short action as only a J or mid action stocks will fit and they aint made them for years!
