purchase .17 hmr action/barrel

Is it possible to order a new action and barrel from Savage? I've already got a stock for it and it seems silly to buy a complete rifle when I won't need the stock.

In my experience you will end up paying almost what a complete rifle costs plus shipping. Just buy the rifle and Craigslist the factory stock. I have never had problems selling mine.

Thanks, I'm going to get a complete rifle and recycle the stock. Can you really sell the tupperware stocks? Can't imagine why anyone would want them. :)
