Hi I've been lurking and following threads here for a while. I never really post anything because I'm still fairly new to firearms and I am not a target shooter by no means haha. I went today and finally sighted in my savage for the first time and wanted to post the results. They aren't prefect but I was pretty proud of them and I was happy with how the rifle performed. The rifle is a savage 110 in 30-06. I bought it about a year ago from walmart. It was one of their package rifles. It has the slightly thinner sporter style barrel, the synthetic stock, a cheap bushnell 3x9 scope, and it has the accutrigger system. I bought it as a hunting rifle. I'm not really a target shooter. At least not yet haha.

Here is a pic of the rifle (top)

I'm sure there is room for improvement but I'm happy with it for now. This was from 100yrds

In the future I would like to upgrade the scope, possibly the bolt handle, and maybe the stock. Not sure yet. But right now I like it as is :)

Thanks! I don't have too much money to spend haha. My wife and I are buying a house right now. Not sure yet how it will effect my hobbies haha.

looks like about 1.5" out of the box. Improve your shooting skills and I bet that comes down to 1".
