Karsten cheek rest on a boyds

Is it possible to put a karsten type a cheek rest on a boyds classic stock?

If it doesn't fit correctly just use a heat gun to soften the material it's made of to mold it to the stock

That particular stock has a sort of cheek swell on one side. Will that mess up the fit?
