Several people I know have used Nate and love his work.

Aside from reducing mass, what other benefit does this process provide?

It looks 8)! Anything to dress up the "ugly" Savage. And the guys at the range think it's a high $$ rig that just beat their a$$! ;) (Priceless!!) ;D

some claim it helps remove dirt and debris buildup from the action. Me I want the cool factor is all. and less bearing suface.

When the guys walk by and eyeball your rig, keep a rag handy so you can wipe off their drool. ;)

NorCcal I too am interested in having this done to match the barrel of my 112vlp, do you have a secret machinist you use or can we all have him do work?

I had Nate at Straight Shot do mine and well it just looks great! heck of a guy to deal with and does fine work! I was told that it helped with functioning with trash in there, I like the tactical shooting and being that close to the ground you get all sorts of neat stuff in the action plus it looks cool! I'm sure there are several folks that do this work but I've just dealt with Nate, for some reason I wnt to say that Kevin may do the work also at Stockade? I know he ask who did mine when I sent it up there for the AI mag conversion he's doing. Later,

Kirk

Oh crap. I have 2 guns that would match that blue bolt..Uh Oh!!!

Are they a pain to keep clean? I guess a good spray with the air hose or something would clean em out if they got real dirty.

Hey Fred, Do we send in the complete bolt or just the bolt body?

your right, I did. also said, no rush as I'm still deer hunting. that's fast service

if any of them , that you have shown , are mine, I'll be more happy/satisfied, then surprised.

they look great.

I just hope pdog06, drools over them, & then orders his.

can't believe he's not on the phone trying to contact you , or Lisa.

well he'll just have to wait until next year. ;D
