Hi Guys,
I posted a thread last week asking about converting a 110 from a .308 to a .223.It turns out I should have given more information on my thread.I measured the action, and came up with 4.5 inches, making it a short action. It is also a left hand gun,so I don't know if that makes a difference.I found pre-fit barrels from Shilen, however if anyone has input on other barrels,or any advice in general,it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Guys.

as far as barrels everyone will have thier own favorites for me i have used shilen(308) mcgowen + cbi (223) and cbi(6.5creedmoor) all shoot great the mcgowen was short throated in 223 which for was a bummer since i wanted to shoot 80gr heads and 69gr was as heavy as i could go (was a 1-8twist) the 223 i'm using now is a cbi 1-8t wylde chamber and shoots 8075-80gr heads no problem. since your rifle is a lefty make sure you get a left handed bolt head and change the baffle to a for lack of the correct words extended baffle it will take up some of the bolt throw and make it shorter (thas what i did on myine when i swapped from 308 to 223 and 7 mag to 6.5 creedmoor).
