went pawn shopping to see what was out there found a savage 110 flat back in 270 that had to be a safe queen not even any bolt marks from someone working the bolt in 270 win. now what to do with it i have a 308 barrel sitting in the safe, a mcqowen 223 that was messed up by a smith i've been thinking about boring it out to 22-250 or 222rem or turn it into another f class gun in 223 and give it to my wife to shoot . oh and i got it for 250.00 out the door

I saved the same exact savage, older flatback 110 .270, from a pawnshop also a few months ago. It is now a .223 paper puncher.

Just how did you go about making it a 223 I just bought a 223 barrel I was going to put on my 110 22-250 this will be my first barrel swap. What will I need besides a action wrench and barrel nut wrench?
