I use RH rails on all of my actions. Never had a problem.

On an EGW rail the only difference is the placement of a 1/8" bevel. Nothing that would make a difference.

Yep, the EGW rails are ambidextrous and the Weaver rails are very slightly right hand biased. A 2-piece base with Burris Signature rings with a set of off-set bushings installed will do the job very well also.

EGW makes LH and RH bases, and they are different. Just not enough to make a difference.

Here's a picture of a LH EGW base.

The two I have are symmetrical, and have that cut on both sides. The Weaver tactical rail is tapered from left to right by about 3/16".

Wonder when EGW started that? That picture is a couple years old.

Both of mine are about 3 years old.

The 20 moa EGW base I purchased in @ April is the same on both sides. I have it on my left handed Mdl 10 short action. No obstruction upon ejection. Catchy phrase. Sounds like a bumper sticker.
Good luck

Pitsnipe, thanks for the info. I will order asap, us southpaws are tough to locate what we need. I like "no obstruction upon ejection" has a porno type ring...

I have an EGW,Weaver, and 3 Ken Farrell bases on my lefties, the Farrell's are by far the best. But they cost 2-3 times more.

I've always wondered how you can get better than square and in spec...
