220 slug gun

Finaly got my scope mounted and got to shoot today. I was using cheap 2 3/4 rem sluggers to get close before using the more expensive slugs. My problem was the two shells in the mag would move forward in the mag and the bottom slug would move forward more than the top one and the rim on the top slug would catch on the bottom shell preventing the secound shot from chambering. Has anyone else had this happen?

Gotta work the bolt like you mean it.......if you go slow, it'll cause you fits.

Called Savage sending gun to them season starts Nov 15 hope I get it back in time. Gun ejects ok but rim of secound round get caught on third round rim. Loaded with rim in front of last round but recoul must move them forward?

I hope you know that standard slugs shot through a rifled barrel will lead the heck out of the barrel.

Jon they dont lead the lands that bad Ive shoot Rem sluggers for about 20 years and havnt had that big of a proplem with it. i now shoot brenneke K.O.s and get DRT knock down with them ;-}
