Looking for advice from anyone who hunts with a striker. I've owned mine since spring, will hunt with it for first time this year. I bought a holster (Uncle Mike's Sidekick) to go with it, but I find it a bit awkward, and the bipod has to be removed to use the holster, so I am considering a rifle sling. I have numerous rifles, and could "borrow" a conventional rifle sling for the hunt, but I am wondering if anyone has found something else that is easy to use and would be recommended. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Actually I put a sling in the plate on the bottom of the grip and another sling in the sling spot towards the front of the forarm area. When the stock is off the action you can see a perch on the inside of the barrel channel where one can put the front stud.

I cut back a none skid rifle sling to a length that allows me to sling naturally if needed. I leave it long for cross back use when climbing in the high country.

I place one stud facing back just below the safety on the hump area above the grip. The second one goes on the front left side of the stock, not the bottom but the side. This allows use of a standard rifle sling and it will rest across your chest like a tactical AR-15 sling when carried.

Great tips guys... thanks.

I already have studs for sling mounted in conventional location up front, and in the bottom of the grip, replacing the screw that hold the steel plate there. I will put a rifle sling ion it and see how it goes. A great weekend to everyone...
