filling in a b&c stock

on a B&c medalist stock or any stock has anybody removed the magazine and filled in the mag well with bedding compound? I have the single shot adapter from sss

If I was going to do that I think I would pick up a can of the expanding foam insulation to fill it first. Its a closed cell foam that wont absorb moisture and you can shave it down or sand it down and use some Acraglas to bed right over top of it.

Bedding compound is expensive, fiberglass resin is cheap(mix it with lead shot if you want to add more weight).
