I didn't even know they offered synthetic stocks. I like how laminate stocks look, but prefer synthetic.

Yes, I would love a laminate.

I am very happy with the gunstock I ordered brom Boyd's, it was delivered, and within 10 mins it was fitted without any tools except the allen wrench. It simply dropped right in to my Savage MK II. I have "driven it" a number of miles and it is SUPERB. Now I have to post the picture again forgive me if I post to this photo to often, just get accostomed to it ...heeeeee !http://i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y399/frenchyx2/Img_9400_zps2a36cf6a.jpg

Although I did do this in hopes that Boyd would see the need to cater to us Axis owners,
I really do not believe they will offer one. =(

I also hope so , BUT due to the complex trig guard assem, mag and recoil lug ,Id expect the stock to be fairly expensive.
That being said ,I do think another company , say ramline, choate, etc could very easily mould, or laminate a better stock.
HOPE THIS HELPS gary

I have filled out their form a few weeks ago regarding the need for such a stock. I never received any reply, so I tend to agree with you. Perhaps a call to them might illicit some sort of response.[QUOTE=fla9-40;143936]Although I did do this in hopes that Boyd would see the need to cater to us Axis owners,

They build tocks for many other rifles, I would think the Axis would not be a problem for them.
