savage 10fp?

Ive gotta savage 10fp in a 308. im wanting to change barrels to a smaller caliber for yotes and other varmits. What all barrels will fit and what calibers. thanks

Here is a link to bolt head size from the FAQ in Savage Bolt-action Centerfires.

Look up .308 and use the same bolthead (.473) size to figure out which caliber you want. Or you can buy a bolthead from SSS in a different size for whatever caliber you decide to go with.

Lots of info in the FAQ's. Let us know which you decide to go with. I would think a 22/250 if you don't reload. A 6 BR would reach out and touch those "yote's" and there are alot of good varmint bullets available for both .224 and 6mm.
