308 Brass to 260AI

I just bought some 308 brass that I am going to resize to 260, the chamber is actually a 260AI so do I get a 260 neck sizer die and fire form them, or can I get a 260AI neck sizer die right off the bat.

I bought a 260 form die that was about $25 from Graf's and run all my 308 brass into this before running it in my F/L 260AI dies. Seems to help keep the necks in better shape and it just necks it down to a slip fit before final sizing.

If you try to reduce in a 260AI die, you will crush shoulders. I run then into a 7-08 and then a 260 die. No problems. My 260AI is an Encore so I make a false shoulder with the 260 die and then fireform. I don't lose 1 in a hundred.
