Today I picked up a bare savage action for slightly more than a song and a smile. Its a large shank short action, and I quickly ordered a stock and barrel (with nut), but my question is about the rest.

Is the trigger, safety, and bolt stop all one assembly on a Savage? Or am I looking for multiple parts?

Ok, so then next question . . . picking up an aftermarket trigger isn't going to get me by, unless there is one that comes with said extra pieces. Any chance of that?

Or could anyone point me to a place that I would have a chance of finding said parts?

My best guess is Sharpshooter Supply or if your on good terms with a licensed gunsmith have him/her/it order them directly from Savage. Most of what you'll need are restricted parts. Midway may have some of them, but if you need parts such as a trigger housing, sear, safety bar and etc SSS or the factory may be your only options.
