dnz mount height

looking at getting the dnz scope mount does anybody know what height to get? I have a stevens 200 with a bull barrel the scope will be a 1" tube and 40mm
Will scope mounts for the savage 10 rounded work on the stevens 200 short action?

You'll have bolt clearance issues if you go with a low.. medium height is pretty much the starting point.

DNZ Low on a round action Savage/Stevens, scope Sightron 1.5x6x42mm. I have no problem wth bolt clearance BUT I don't have a fast focus eye piece.

Mine has more clearance than that.. and I have to let go of the bolt to work it.. thumb wont fit between. Depending on scope, I think it matters the width of the mag ring. I think that sightron might be even longer than my bushy elite 3200. Unless thats a 10? Mines a 110.. Flat rear, round front. I definitely cant cycle the bolt without hitting the lens protector.

thank you the nikon i'll be using has a large eye piece so i went with the med. hope they work

I have the low on my 116 with a 3-9 nikon. Barely clears, but it clears.

I just mounted the low DNZ on my new 116 weather warrior (round receiver) with a Nikon Monarch 4-16x42. Everything clears including working the bolt as long as I don't have the factory Nikon scope cover on. It's tight but I like it.

with a med set of dnz on my axis with 10x40x50 1/8" space from obj. to bbl perfect for my set up
