I am looking at the LRPV and the F/TR in .223 with the 1 in 7 twist. My question is do they both have the same chamber and throat length? Should they have a little longer throat for the 80 and 90 grainers?

Thanks

Not sure about the LRPV; the 12 F/TR appears to have a Wylde chamber - good all around .223 'match' chamber that is a good choice... for a gas gun where a balance has to be struck between mag-length bullets having to jump too far and single-load rounds not being seated too deeply into the case. For a dedicated single-shot bolt rifle intended to run solely 80-90gn bullets, a longer throat would probably be more appropriate. That said... my 12 F/TR in .223 does very well with B82BTs - well enough to win some mid-range matches. Its been a while since I've tinkered with it so I don't recall the dimensions for bullets seated to the lands, etc. It also shot 90 VLDs 'okay'... but could really use a longer throat for those for sure.

I'd take a wild guess and say that the LRPV with a 7 twist *probably* has the same chamber in it, as I doubt they'd want to have any more variations than strictly necessary.
