Savage model 11

I bought savage model 11 22" tapered heavy barrel,top load.it says prairie dog on the box. It was purchased at cabelas. It is not on the savage web site. This is my first bolt action rifle. It does have the accutrigger. Caliber 223. Anyone else have one?

Is it a factory Savage box that says "prarie dog" on it? News to me or i may have had to have one of those....LOL

Also, was it purchased NEW OR USED at cabelas?

It's probably a Cabelas exclusive. When I bought my #10Predator Hunter at Cabelas, it was the gun/scope combo deal, but had a DBM which I really did not want. I called Savage and they said that it was a Cabelas exclusive. Normally, the rifle alone comes with a DBM and the combo has a blind mag.
