I have a savage 112 that is stainless with a heavy barrel that is fluted. Its a 7mm Rem mag and left handed. Plastic type stock also. What is the full model number? I know the 112 but what about after that? Pre-accutrigger.. I can send a pic if necessary

Thanks

That gun looks like it was put together by someone. The action is blued with a stainless bolt handle, recoil lug, nut, trigger guard, and with a stainless barrel. There was some factory guns made like that but they was not cataloged, because they was a special run for one of the dealers. It has a limbsaver recoil pad and that was never installed by Savage. I guess if you was to put a label on it it would be a 112flv.

Just for some clarification, I added the recoil pad myself so I know thats not from the factory.
Also I bought it from a guy who got it from his father and im assuming he bought it new or even used but didnt seem like the type to go through all the work of changing stuff on it..

If it were a "full" stainless gun the action would be stainless also?

One last one, is the value less than "normal" because it looks like someone put it together?
It shoots great and obviously took the deer in the pict so I dont want to get rid of it but just wondering about the value.

Yes, and then it would be a 12flvss

Value, it is hard to say. Over the Internet, on a site like this, I don't think that it would hurt the value. I would say it is worth $400 area. At a gun show or local gun shop I think you would have a hard time selling it.
