If Northlander dont have it in stock, I'm sure it will take atleast the 16wk wait time. Jim updates that info often to give us the best info available, so I'd bet it is a pretty accurate timeframe. To be sure you may wanna send him a pm to see.

Checked Pac Nor and their site said 14 to 16 weeks wait time. Just went ahead and placed my order. No hurry on this end. Got a note From Pac Nor that it would be 4 to 6 weeks. MUCH BETTER!! ;D Might be Christmas and a slower economy has cut them a little slack?? Could be the same at Shilen?? And Sin Arms was about the same time frame.

Do a search for "Jerry the barrel man", he usually has quick access to blanks and just have a guy on here chamber your barrel in his spare time.

If you are directing your snide comment at me I was trying to help. This guy sells all the sought after blanks and Shilen has zero magic in their chambering process. A shilen blank is a shilen blank no matter who delivers it.

Ordered a Shilen from NSS Nov 2nd the wait was 16 to 20 weeks. Talked to Jim today and he said they were stating the wait time as 16 weeks. Hope that helps.

Ordered mine mid-Sep, it arrived mid-Dec, or about 12 weeks, on the short side of the 12-16 wks. Think it depends some on what barrels they are processing at the time. If it is a one-of or has some special needs it would take longer, it part of the run they are working on it will fit the 12-16 wks. Had the chance to visit the shop and those folks are working hard, but still taking the time to give us good barrels. And the volume of barrels I saw in process tells me they are shipping a lot of barrels - which is a Very Good thing.

I don't remember exactly when I ordered my shilen, but I was expecting mid january and 4 months, and it arrived end of december so I suspect they are running 14 weeks. If I can find out exactly when I ordered I'll repost, but I really didn't memorize that, only that I was expected January.

Ordered one from Pac Nor on 12/17/09. It showed up today. ;D They listed 14 to 16 weeks. Might be that Shilen could be about the same wait time?
.270 straight pipe cut for a 6.8 SPC with "their" reamer. 90 grain Sierra HPFB (at the lands) sits with the base at the shoulder neck junction. Couldn't have asked for anything better. ;)
