Who has a good deal on a .17 barrel for my 110

I am looking for a .17 barrel in .17 Remington or .17-.223 to replace the barrel on my old donor .270 110 I picked up. I am looking to make a varmint rifle up with the action, new barrel and a replacement stock. I also have a take off 22-250 from a remington 700 I was thinking about.

I think a 17 on a 308 case might be a "bit" too much. The "17 Flintstone Super Eyebunger" was a 17 based off of the 22-250 necked down to 17, if I am remembering correctly.

the 22-250 is a necked down 308. does anyone know any info on the 17 FSE that sounds cool

The 22-250 is a necked down 250-3000 savage. A 243 is already considered an over bore barrel burner wouldn't think necking it down further would help that situation any...
