Factory box 243s

Can you guys help me find the highest BC factory box 243? I dont reload and would like to shoot out to 400 yards at coyotes and doe deer with a little more confidence in the bullet. We shoot a Model 10 fxp. The winchester power points shoot nice at 100 yards, but would like to get a better BC. any help would be awesome. I have searched the archives! thx guys

try hornady 95gn sst or 100gn btsp. the 100gn btsp has a bc of .405 and the sst has a bc of .355

There are several factory loads that will do very well. The smart thing to do is to get one box each of 2-3 different loads, go to the range and see which shoot best for you and your rifle.

For example these all should both shoot well out to 400 yards for coyote and small deer while being comparatively easy on the wallet: Federal Premium Vital-Shok Ammunition 243 Winchester 100 Grain Sierra GameKing Soft Point Boat Tail, Remington Premier Ammunition 243 Winchester 90 Grain Swift Scirocco Polymer Tip Box of 20, and Hornady SUPERFORMANCE Ammunition 243 Winchester 95 Grain SST Box of 20.

Thx for the replies so far... Not to offend, but I am trying to eliminate purchasing ammo that have possibly proven NOT to be good choices... We'll try a few out this weekend and see what happens

The Berger vlds will give the best b.c. I think hsm ammo loads with a Berger bullet. If not a Berger I would go with a sierra.

The winchester 95 gr XP3 is .411BC and is the best in .243 factory loaded ammo for wind per Ballistic v 2.5.9.

I have shot succesfully with the .243 and factory Win. 100 gr power pt. out to 500-525yds on yotes but the XP3 has a better BC.
