I have not been on the site in a while and thought I had to ring in. A few months ago I purchased two savage actions in SS. When they arrived the search began. Now I almost have two functional firearms. One in 6.5x47L and the other in 300 WSM. They have McGowan varmint contour barrels with tactical adjustable stocks, extended mags I sourced, ground recoil lugs, EGW 20 moa bases, Burris tactical rings, Vortex scope (PST) on one the second has a Burris Fullfield. The brass and Forster dies are enroute. Tomorrow I go for the primers, bullets and powder.
Thanks to all who help on this site. The information was greatly accepted.................my wallet is flat.................but the info was great. I know, I know.......it didn't happen without pictures. When I get the first targets I will post them with the guns. I can't wait. The 300 is going on my moose hunt, it is a little heavy but where I hunt it's not much of a walk to the cliff where we scan from. I drew a bull tag.
