a little update, just took her home from gunsmith. Took about 4" off and installed AU Northstar supressor. Next big thing will be what kind of optics she's getting :S I'm thinking Vortex razor/viper, Zeiss, S&B, Steiner, Hensoldt.. So many scopes, so little money :frusty:

Well it looks i have been very good this year since i got my first Christmas present and its not even Christmas Eve :D
Came from UK eBay. Says it fits both center and stagger feed, but it'll have to wait until hunting season ends to see if it need any fitting done etc. Till next time :tea:

Other than barrel length the rifles appear identical to the untrained eye which is my strategy for my wife not noticing that the number of rifles keeps increasing. :)

maybe bump back .0001 every 5yh or 6th firing ...and then only if bolt closing becomes stiffer

Lookin great, mespalin...did you simply shoot Khaki on the stock then sponge the OD on?

BoilerUp, after getting some really great advice and input from other SavageShooters members, I went ahead and did it. Yes that's all it is, 3 coats of Krylon Fusion khaki, then sprayed some OD green of same brand into a paper plate and sponged on. I went light with the OD, and although have been tempted to add a little more in areas, haven't yet as I like the mostly tan/a little green combo. It was soo easy, if you are considering painting your rig, I don't think you will regret it. Oh, and thanks for the kind comments!
