I just finished my 223 version, made very similar to the original 10T in 243. both topped with bushnell tactical elite optics. can't wait to get the 223 to the range! I wanted to get the tupperware stocks as usable as possible till I can afford a B&C or Manners. They feel pretty good. Hopefully the 223 shoots as good as the 243.

Nice looking paint jobs. What brand and colors of paint did you use?

Krylon supermax flat black base, behr ultra premium indoor/outdoor matte for color, krylon covermaxx clear acrylic for finish coat. Krylon instructed me on application of all products and they worked great.

I'm not sure of the behr colors. I just referenced a picture, picked swatches, and got each in a small sampler size.

Savage 12FV in .223 with Bell & Carlson Medalist A2 stock with CDI DBM. Inletting by Jeff at CDI. Optic is a 12X SWFA SS. Harris bipod. Very happy with the result.

Thanks! It's the factory McMillan stock that comes on the FCP 10 McMillan. I think it's just an A5 with no adjustable cheek piece.

I finally got the Creedmoor broke in and had a chance to try it out at 100 yards at the 435Legion range yesterday. Started with an Axis in 7mm-08, then went to a 110 accutrigger that I picked up in .223. Used a dowel wrapped with 60 grit sand paperto open up the fore end to fit the E.A. Brown 26 inch Creedmoor barrel in heavyvarmint, Boyd's pro varmint stock is on order and couldn't wait lol. This thingis a shooter, I built it on a whim to give my 24 inch AR in 6.5 Grendel a rest,it is getting close to 3,000 rounds down the pipe now and has been the dismayof many prairie dogs and coyotes as well as some Georgia hogs.

Currently doing another Axis or 10/110 in Grendel but having a hard timefinding a 6PPC or 7.62X39 bolt head in stock anywhere, would love a headsup if anyone has an "in" somewhere to get one quicker than a fewweeks out.

Got my PPC bolt head from Midway, but I see they're backordered now. According to the PTG website, they show 2 in stock. Recently finished a Model 10 build in Grendel, but having problems feeding from the Savage 7.62x39 magazines.

Here is my 24" 10T Build.

HS3 Chassis
LUTH-AR MBA3F stock (not a perfect color match, o well)
SWFA 12X MOA on Seekins Precision mid rings
Magpul K grip

I will be adding a Witt Machine break, and likely a DNZ scope mount. Currently building a tripod clamp as well.
Unfortunately I am not a very good shot, but this gun makes it easy to hit targets. My girlfriend who has never shot was shooting 1'x1' steel at 300 on her first shots.

Our groups were not ideal however. The Hornady yielded close to 1" @ 100 and the FGMM 168s were closer to 3"... Something is up. The gun has seen at most 200 rounds. I'll go over the gun, check the screws, make sure everything is tight, and I'll try a rear bag next time. Could just be the shooter I supposeeeee.

^^^ Nice looking rifle.

If you're measuring your groups after shooting the rifle as depicted in your pics - try moving over to the right and supporting the stock with a rear bag. An old sock full of sand or similar material will work to start with.

Rice is also a cheap alternative. I have used a sock with rice on more than one occasion.

Thanks folks. After many many many recomendations to get a rear bag, I made one. I found some airsoft bbs and threw them in a sock. Wish I had done this a long time ago as the difference is huge. I'll be going on tomorrow morning again, will report back (with more pics:) )

Sold the 10T shortly after and went a different route.

10 FCP-SR 20"
XLR Element
Argos Athlon 6-24x50 FFP - MOA

Have a 3 port brake and blast mitigation collar on the way, just need a good bipod now.

I forgot all about this thread... I can finally post one!! XLR's getting pretty popular...

EDIT: 17.25lbs. 24" Shilen S8 profile barrel is probably 40% of this.

Here's one in a little different flavor. A 110FP in 25-06
I really like the amount of room provided to the loading/ejection port by the rock solid 2 piece Leupold dual dovetail rings and bases.
