Hello.

i have a savage 110 fp long action small shank in 25/06 blind box mag & i'm wanting to rebarrel to 300 rum, is it possible to use it still as a more then single shot?
I know i need barrel, magnum bolt face " controlled feed or?", magnum extractor, any thing else?
I don't want to have to pull my bolt out & single feed rounds.

I think you can get one of the newer push feed magnum bolt heads. That way you won't have to modify your action for the standing ejector.
How old is your rifle? I believe you will either need to buy a new mag and follower for your action or your stock depending on the age of the rifle.

It will take modification to use your action as a repeater. You will not have to remove your bolt to take out live rounds as the loading port is not the problem, it is the mag box size.

You would need a regular push feed magnum bolt head not a controlled feed.

Built a 7MM STW on a Savage 110 Long Action and had to use it as a single shot. The 300 RUM and 7MM STW have the same 3.60" overall length. Might consider going with a 300 Winchester Magnum.
