22-250 to 222 DBM

I have a 22-250 Predator that I am converting to 222 Rem. Is there a place that I can buy just the centerfeed magazine body and follower or do I have to buy the whole magazine? Maybe there is a way to make a staggered feed mag work? 50 bucks just seems expensive for the whole magazine!

go to this link, punch in your serial # and find the parts you need and call Savage. i think the mag box and follower ran me around $25.

If you don't get a whole magazine to replace the one you've got be ready to tweak the feed lips on the one you use now if necessary.
