I was doing some experimenting with bullets this PM. I tried Varget and 65gr V-Max bullet that I use in my 243. I shot 4 5 shot groups the best group was with 31 gr. load and measured .250 Center to center. With my old eyes and a 1 in 8 twist I was surprised.

The 2 on the right are 30.5 gr and the 2 on the left are 31 gr. It seems to like the 31 gr load the best.

try some H322 start at 29grns
i do have some 68 gr barts if you like to try
always shot great in my 1/8 & 1/14 bbls

Thanks drybean maybe I will take you up on the barts later. I want to work with Varget and RL- 15 first as I load for a lot of calibers and am trying to cut down on different powders. I think if I am having a good day I can pull those groups tighter, the gun wanted to shoot better but heat and me held it back.
