I tried it in an unmolested BVSS stock and it shot the same - 5 inches high. I gave up and put a set of Burris rings with the offset bushings and it is fine. Groups great like it always has. I never figured out what I did but it shoots as good as it always has. I used brown shoe polish as my release agent - I didn't wipe enough off to prevent the brown stains on the bedding - oops.

Took it out again tonight. 1st shot a little to the right, clicked one click to the left and put 5 more rounds down range. This is at 100 yds. This gun prolly has 2000-2500 rounds thru it.

I had the rings on the bench. Other than the stains does my bedding job look that bad?
