I thought that there was only one is there more I am looking to chamber it in 308.

you have a single shot target action(lrpv, f/tr,fclass), a single shot model 12(like the bvss or vlp actions), and you also have the older single shot intermediate short actions.

The standard single shot weighs 2 lb.-6 oz.
The target action weighs 2 lbs.-9 oz.
