good to know. Read alot of positives and with about 3 weeks research online finally pulled the trigger and got the SIII 8-32x LRTD with 1/8 MOA adjustments.

snakepit- how does the mil-dot reticle do for benchrest shooting, say f-class? I've heard that the mil-dot is a little thick for fine work.

Mattri, I have two Savage Long Range Rifles, a F/TR .308 and a F Class 6mm BR both using the Sightron lll 10-50x60 with the mil-dot reticle and I have no problem at all with them for long range shooting. I spend a majority of my time benchrest shooting at 600 yds (getting to old to be on the ground shooting). They do have thicker mil-dot lines but it has been no problem and in fact it has been an advantage with my old eyes. My shooting partner has a Nightforce long range scope with the fine mil-dot reticle and I have fired it several times and like my thicker lines better. He often has to use his illuminator to use his in low light/cloudy days. My rifle & scope combination has done great and holds the Club 600 yd record. Sorry about the late 5 month response.

i can see them with my 8x32 S111

6mm

You can see 6mm holes in a black target face @ 300yds?

I will confirm Dean's findings. I can see 6.5mm hits @ 300 - Sightron SIII 10-50x 60mm LRTD-TD. I have 2x of these and one SIII 8-32x - 56mm LRTD-TD. Excellent Scopes. I was a Leupy fan for "best" scope, but the Sightrons have converted me. Fantastic glass...

I ordered a Sightron 10-50 fch 2 days ago, but of course it's on back order. What height Weaver rings do I need to get this on a 12 FTR with 20 moa base? Luckus

I have mine with medium height Burris Sig Zee rings. I have a heavy varmint contour barrel and the 20 MOA base.. Scope just clears the barrel. So depends on how much room under there you want.

My Sightron showed up a couple days ago. I was looking at a Swarovski website where they were showing their new Optic Ballistic Turret setup with plastic color coded rings that fit on the turret. Does anyone know if there is anything like this available for Sightron scopes? It looks like a great system. Luckus

I got to try my new scope a few days ago at 100 and 300 yards. Absolutely awesome. I could'nt see holes at 300, but I could see the black center of one of those red stick on real clear. Luckus

I am really glad to read all of the positive reviews for the SIII 10-50x60 scope. I am getting ready to order one, but still trying to figure out which model I want. I would prefer to get one of the models with a .125 MOA click value versus the .25 MOA. This is going to be mounted on a Model 12 BR in 6mm BR Norma, I will be using this for Open F Class. Which reticle is preferred for this type of shooting. And yes, I am brand new to rifle shooting.

I sold my Target dot model to get the FCH model and I personally like this one better. I feel I can aim more precisely on the target with the FCH

I just got the LRMD model yesterday, and am very impressed. Glad I went with the Sightron!!! Can't wait to get it mounted and out to the range.

:oI can see bullet holes easy at 300yds with my Sii 36x I imagine a 10x50 will see clear at 600 no problemo

Try Kenton? Industries. They have custom yardage turrets for Sightron
