cocking indicator missing?

Just bought a used LH model at gun show and now notice it does not have the indicator along the side of the receiver. The serial number starts with "G". Can anyone enlighten me as I have never seen a 10/110 without the indicator.

Does it have the bottom bolt release?

If so the cocking indicator is a projection from the end of the bolt.

Thank you for responding. Looked at your bio, saw that you are also a lefty. Since this is my first Savage I have just joined this group so I have not posted a bio as yet. Yes, the bolt release is at the trigger group, so is this set up what a left hand 110 is supposed to be?

The new ones are.

All of mine have been the old style with the side bolt release/cocking indicator.
