I use h4831sc over h4350 but im shooting an improved version of the 284 so my loads are 3-4grs more than a standard 284. Very easy to load for but I settled on the 162 amax...

i shoot 54.8 gr of H4831SC with 180VLDs CCIBR2 in Lapua 6.5X284 brass resized for 284 but have shot 56.4 grs. of H4831SC which IS NOT A SAFE LOAD but will shoot great at 1000 yards in my gun with occasional hard bolt lift
Please note the 56.4 is NOT A SAFE LOAD

I am going to break it in WITH a safe load to start. Just waiting to put my NF scope on it and start pulling the trigger!

My .284 is throated for heavies specifically. I am running 180 hybrids @ 3.280 which is about 10 thou off the lands in my rifle. I use 55 gr of 4831sc (safely) which equates to about 2820 in my 28" cbi. My groups have been consistanly in the .4" range with mu personal beat at .365" @ 100 yds, 75 moa of internal elevation will get me to 1760 at sea level in summer coastal conditions.
