Outside diameter of Vortex Viper

Looking at the 6.5-20x50 mil dot viper, anyone know the outside diameter of the objective lens? Either via calipers or if you know what Butler Creek obj size will get me close enough. Trying to get ring sizes figured out for a new gun in the near future.

2.2" according to the Vortex site. Here's the link:

I measured mine with calipers and got 2.26" at the obj end of the scope, and 2.20" at the end of the sunshade. This would need a #39 Butler Creek flip-up cover.

If you are using a 1pc rail(like a Farrell or EGW) you will need medium Burris Sig Zee rings. If you are using 2pc bases(like Warne or Burris) I would go with high rings.
